Richmond defender Dylan Grimes has agreed to a new contract that will keep him at the club for a further three years.
Grimes will be at the Tigers until at least the end of 2018 under a deal finalised this week.
Horribly hampered by injury early in his career, Grimes played 18 games this season, after 19 games in 2014.
Originally a pre-season draft selection, he overcame persistent hamstring injuries and a significant foot problem before establishing himself in the Tigers’ side.
Richmond made its first round of delistings on Tuesday, two days after the club’s elimination final loss to North Melbourne.
Matt McDonough and rookie Matt Arnot were cut, with Chris Newman, Nathan Foley, Chris Knights and Ricky Petterd having already announced their retirements.
